Boreal Forest Trail Repairs Completed July 2015

The record rainfall in July 2014 made a mess of parts of our Boreal Forest Trail. Flooding moved some of the boardwalks and affected other parts of the trail. The Boreal Forest Trail was repaired in July 2015 thanks to a grant from REI, our dedicated hard-working volunteers who did the work, and donations from other concerned folks. Thank you to everyone who made this possible! Thank you Bill Holman, Jim Trombley, Stan Hodges, Brian Quackenbush, Stan Justice and Craig Dorman, who also took these photos. Thanks also to Tim Carder and Derrek Helgeson from ADF&G! Come enjoy the Boreal Forest Trail again!

Reconstruction and enhancement had been also done few years ago, a project made possible by a generous donation from ConocoPhillips. Thanks to both ConocoPhillips and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
